At Humor Camp 2025, you’ll interact not only with our talented team of content experts and humor facilitators (click here to Meet the Team), you’ll also be meeting, rubbing elbows, and creating connections with your fellow campers; a professionally diverse group from a spectrum of specialties in a number of fields of endeavor. All of this happens, and so much more, as you explore the treasure trove of humor and comedy history, whether self-guided or facilitated in a session along with your “cabin.”

In the weeks and months prior to October 9-12, 2025 (limited space, register early), Humor Camp encourages you to engage in pre-camp opportunities for learning and socialization with your fellow campers. Ultimately, these pre-camp opportunities will engage you in advance so your time spent in Jamestown can be utilized most efficiently. Humor Camp is interactive, immersive, social and fun! It’s about both the content and the experience.
- Participate in a series of webinars (to earn Continuing Education credits) hosted by Humor Camp 2025 faculty on a variety of humor-related topics such as foundational humor theories and humor research. These webinars will also help you meet some of our knowledgeable camp faculty and your fellow campers prior to your arrival in Jamestown.
- Access literature on Humor History, Humor Science, Humor Theory, Humor Philosophy, Humor Practice.
- Meet with your fellow campers, via Zoom, in “cabins” of similar interest.
- Gain early access to a wealth of National Comedy Center video resources. This will save you precious time while you’re on-site in Jamestown.

- 9:00 AM Keynote: Founders’ Funamentals (with Kermit Cole & Lenny Dave)
- 10:15 AM Break
- 10:45 AM Keynote: “Humor in Focus: It’s All About Perspective” (with Michael Gershe)
- 11:15 AM Lunch (included with Registration) seated by cabins for Cabin Meeting #2
Afternoon:
- 12:30 PM Depart for National Comedy Center {Independent exploration)
- 4:30 PM Konversation with Kermit (#1)
- 6:00 PM National Comedy Center & Gift Shop Closes
