Continuing Education Credits:

Humor Camp 2026 has been approved for 12.5 CEUs by the American Psychological Association (APA), New York Education Boards for Social Work, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Psychologists and Marriage and Family Therapists, the Association of Social Work Boards (ASWB), and the ANCC for nurses.

In 2026, while Humor Camp sessions will address additional topics, the CEU-qualified sessions will cover:

• An Overview of Relevant Humor Research
• The Importance of Humor in Building Healthy Relationships & Effective Leadership
• Recognizing humor techniques & timing in formal (e.g., counseling; trauma response; business) and informal (e.g., marriage, dating, in-the-moment) settings
• Learning from the Masters of Humor and Comedy 
• Deconstructing and Demonstrating Humor’s Role in Adult Learning
• Humor’s Role in Professional Settings, such as Counseling, Therapy, Education and Work Environments
